Anxiety

Anxiety can take many forms, including social anxiety (fear of embarrassment in social situations), generalized anxiety (worries about daily life and the future), separation anxiety (fear of being separated from caregivers), and phobias (fear of needles, animals, nature, etc.).

I use evidence-based approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) to help clients face their fears and increase their engagement in daily activities. Anxiety looks different in everyone. As such, treatment plans are specifically tailored to each client.
